Description

The AMP16 amplifier is designed for use with the AXUV16EL diode array. The AMP16 consists of a ceramic main board with a 16 channel array of amplifiers. A D-shell connector on the main board serves as a path for amplified signal out. Alternatively, the diode array may be remotely-mounted on a ceramic board, which is then connected to the main board by a 20 cm cable, allowing for greater flexibility in positioning of the diode array. Power is supplied to the main board amplifiers through a standard +15/-15 power supply.

The amplifier is vacuum compatible, and the D-shell connector on the main board connects to standard vacuum-flange feedthroughs.
